Dear friends of Dr. Roswith Gerloff,

Unfortunately, we have to announce to you the sad news that Roswith Gerloff has passed away in the night of the 28th / 29th July 2013. After a long series of sicknesses, she finally had become too weak to continue her so devoted work and life. Her death was very peaceful, falling asleep at home.

When Dr. Roswith Gerloff was still alive it was her strong wish that the celebration originally planned to be her 80th birthday celebration should take place with or without her. This is why it will now be a memorial service and celebration which, thanks to our friend Alimamy Sesay, can take place on

And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.
