winter message Hi everyone“These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.” (John 16:33) With the cost-of-living crisis, rising energy prices, the UK Government, alleged racism in the Royal household… there doesn’t seem to be much good cheer around, does there? But, in the midst of all these storms, it’s so important to remember the One who calms those storms and has overcome the world. He, our Lord Jesus Christ, is the One who should remain the centre of our focus, especially at CHRISTmas. In this Winter issue of the NCLF Newsletter, Rev Celia Apeagyei-Collins reminds us that we can celebrate Christmas and enter the New Year in triumph, when we have faith in God, who always keeps His promises. So we’d like to thank you for your continued support at NCLF. We wish you a very Merry Christmas and a prosperous New Year, and pray that most of all you will enjoy the peace of knowing that the Prince of Peace is for you and not against you. God bless Jackie |
