Britain’s Black Church Movement calls a Leader’s Summit following publication of first ever manifesto to mobilise for action during General Election season
The National Church Leaders Forum (NCLF) – a Black Christian voice for Britain’s Black Church Movement published a manifesto in January 2015, in a quest to mobilise their involvement in the current debates leading up to the General Elections in May.
Now Black Church Political Mobilisation – a manifesto for action will lead the agenda of an urgent Summit to which Church Leaders, Civic Leaders and Media and others are invited on Saturday 14th March 2015 at Transformation House, 58 St John’s Hill, Clapham London SW11 2AA to account the achievements so far and to consider strategic steps for the future.
It was in May 2011 when key leaders of the African and Caribbean churches in the UK came together to look at how African and Caribbean churches can more effectively serve their communities that the seeds of the National Church Leaders Forum was sown.
From this meeting the NCLF Steering Group was commissioned to realise the ambitions of the recorded notes (view here).
